Case Study: Out of Time

The Challenge: Not enough time in the day

The client was overwhelmed by business tasks that bled into their personal time and left them feeling completely drained. Partnered with unwritten rules about time allocation and consequences for breaking them, the client was feeling burdened and confined without the freedom to serve their clients with excellence. They needed a new perspective on time, prioritizing, and values.

The Outcome: Over eight, hour-long sessions, D.M. Watson Consulting was able to help the client identify the unwritten rules and consequences that were impeding their ability to work and rest freely. The client was able to establish new working hours that fit their lifestyle. They were also able to determine their business priorities and values. I introduced the client to free time management tools and provided recommendations on how to manage time more effectively. The client was encouraged and documented significant progress in their ability to regulate their time.
