The Challenge: Owner too busy to run the business

The client needed internal administrative systems and processes to be established so that they could run the business while still being able to focus on serving customers. They needed administrative tools to help with internal communication, reporting, and scheduling, and to organize all the duties of the owner. D.M. Watson Consulting assisted with the research for apps to aid with communication and scheduling.

The Outcome: D.M. Watson Consulting was able to provide the owner with a task tracker that allowed them to identify all the tasks and assign them to the appropriate team member. I advised the client on how to delegate those tasks and assign due dates so that reporting was done in a timely manner. I also provided recommendations for long-term administrative systems such as staff meetings, outsourcing, and staff roles. The owner was pleased with the recommendations and excited to get back on track.
